Scott Flanders

    Mr. Scott N. Flanders, J.D., serves as an Operating Partner at Tri-Artisan Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Flanders has been the Chief Executive Officer at Playboy Enterprises, Inc. since June 2009 and also serves as its Chairman of the Board. Prior to this Mr. Flanders served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Communications, Inc. since October 4, 2005.

    Prior to Freedom Communications, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at The Columbia House Company since September 1999. Prior to this, Mr. Flanders co founded, where he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer from January 1999 to September 1999. Previously, he served as the President of Macmillan publishing, from January 1993 through December 1998.

    During his 14 year career at Macmillan, Mr. Flanders established Macmillan as the world’s largest computer book publisher and the first publisher of books about the Internet. He serves on the Board of Directors of Freedom Communications. He has been an Independent Director at eHealth, Inc. since February 2008. He has been Executive Director of Playboy Enterprises Inc. , since June 2009.

    Mr. Flanders serves as a Director at Gazelle Fund. He serves as a Director of Newspaper Association of America and as a Member of the United States Advisory Board of Eskye Solutions, Inc. Mr. Flanders also sits on the Board and served as a Member of the Audit and Finance Committee at R.H. Donnelley from May 12, 2005 to January 2006. He served as a Director at Vertrue Inc. (formerly, Memberworks Inc.) from July 2002 to December 21, 2004; a Director at Columbia House Company; and a Director at Eoexchange Inc. since March 2000. Mr. Flanders is a C.P.A. Mr. Flanders holds a J.D. from Indiana University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.
