There are 6 primary aspects of our lives that we are looking to master.

Mind, Body, Spirit, Relationships, Finance, and Legacy.

We have created narratives or “stories” around our ability or inability to master these areas of our lives but what’s THE REAL STORY?

Im too old to get a six pack, my relationship is too old to start fresh, I’m too broke to be a billionaire and the list goes on.

Experts in the dating/relationship, finance and legacy building to separate the narrative from the truth and give you a path to become a master of your life’s story.

When you leave you’ll have a strategy to change your story on your finances, finding love, finding the mind/body/spirit connection, and improving your sex life. If you came in getting swiped left when you leave you might get swiped right!

Sanyika The Firestarter is a Keynote Speaker, Performing Artist, and an Innovative Storytelling Expert. He combines powerful spoken word musical performances with transformational tools that entertain, teach and inspire.

He focuses on teaching two aspects of story “Story as a communication tool” and “Story as a belief system”. He believes that when we change the narrative behind our personal story we can better tell our story to the world. By the time you leave any of his performances and talks, you will absolutely know “How To Be A Firestarter”.

Event Details

People think human rights violations are in Timor, Rwanda and Iran. But there are human rights being violated every single day, here in the United States of America.
Shocking to know that there is no rights for adult children to see their ailing parents. And the ‘isolators’ did not even have to tell the adult children whether their sick parent had died or where they were buried.
Kerri, whose father Casey Kasem was the radio host of American Top 40 and the voice of Scooby Doo, experienced that first hand.
Her father’s right to family, right to live in freedom and safety, and right to be free from torture were all denied him. Even in death her stepmother violated her father’s rights—his right to nationality—by burying him in a country he’d never been, where he had no family, when he was born and raised in the United States of America and wanted to be buried here.
Hopeless, helpless, frustrated and angry, Kerri soon learned that she had nowhere to turn—neither the police nor adult protective services could help her. Speaking out about her experience, Kerri began receiving hundreds of letters from individuals in similar shoes—traumatized, angry and never to see their loved ones again.
At this week’s COED METal you will hear how Kerri began by creating the Kasem Cares Foundation and started traveling across the country educating others on their fundamental human rights and fighting to make those rights a reality through legislation.

Event Details

Two hundred years ago, Mary Shelley penned a line that may well apply not only to how technology would influence the future but also to the creative process itself. “You are my creator, but I am your master…”. Big projects take on a life of their own.

Chris Paine and his special guest David Newsom are filmmakers whose latest respective projects are stories about technology. Chris directed the jeremiad AI documentary “Do You Trust this Computer?” and David executive produced”Valley of the Boom” the groundbreaking new Nat Geo series set during the Netscape browser wars of the late 1990s. In today’s session, Chris and David will show clips and dialogue about the content and making of these two projects and how they learned to cope with a challenge facing all of us as makers: how to realize your vision while surrendering to the process of collaboration.

In addition to working with intense creative teams, the two interviewed such luminaries as Jim Clark, Ray Kurzweil, Arianna Huffington, Elon Musk, Andrew Ng, Jonathan Nolan & Ray Kurzweil. How do you guide such personalities into your vision? You don’t exactly. You listen, integrated, distill, and improvise.

This is Chris’s third feature directing credit which started with Who Killed the Electric Car in 2006. Prior to his work in film, he rolled his SoCal startup Internet Outfitters into a public offering as AppNet Systems in 1999. David has directed and produced for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, AMC, National Geographic, and the BBC. Both committed environmentalists, Chris serves on the board of Friends of the Earth and David founded the nonprofit“Wild Yards Project.”
